This Iris Wildthyme collection is different from the others, but in a way that works just so well. Iris doesn't appear for long in each story, giving a chance for new characters to shine in the spotlight.A highlight for me was the introduction of Senor 105, a character named after the number of elements in the periodic table. This concept came as strange to me but allowed me to experience a character I'm never likely to forget, but in a good way! His friend who is effectively a helium balloon also stuck in the memory. From what I understand now Senor 105 has his own series, and reading this strange yet wonderful introduction has me interested in following this series.
Again a wonderful entry in Obverse's Iris Wildthyme series, and stands a testament to the quality of story Obverse wants to offer.
